Fundraising for Send A Cow

As part of Caerau's topic 'Africa' we have been learning about how people live in some parts of Africa. We have compared our lives with a girl called Rose who lives in Rwanda. We came across a charity called 'Send A Cow', who help people who live there.
The resources on their website are brill and we have also learnt about the different ways in which they help families, one is buying a family a cow so they can drink and sell the milk and use the manuare for their crops.

We invited a speaker to come to our school from the charity so that more people know and understand the good work they do. Today we did an assembly which we think went well.

On Thursday this week we are kindly asking the children to bring in a donation for the charity and some spare change to spend on our stalls...
