Safer Internet Day 2016

Year 4 and I had an amazing afternoon today looking at how we can stay safe online. We did our part and shared our hearts, making promises to keep ourselves and others safe whilst communicating on the world wide web.

We are now SMART and can use a variety of techniques to stay away from trouble or unwanted people on the Internet, gaming and social media.

Ask your child what SMART means. Look at the key words below:

Meet
Accept
Reliable
Tell

I really enjoyed this afternoon Year 4. The promises made were fantastic and your communication paper people look great. I can't wait to put them on display. Thank you for working very hard for not just me but for Mrs Boat after play too.
