This week we will be carrying out activities linked to anti bullying week. We will start the week looking at what Bullying actually is. It is important we understand what it is so that we can spot it and stop it in our school!
The activities we will be doing include:
- Posters
- Storyboards
- Character sketches
- Role play
The week will start with an assembly taken by our Super ambassadors Luke Samuel and Sarah Seremwe in Year 6. It is very important you listen carefully to what Luke and Sarah have to say as you will use the information in the classroom throughout the week.
Things to remember this week:
Dydd Llun - British Legion in to talk to Year 4 and 5. Don't forget your poppy homework to show them. Because we ran out of time on Friday for face paint, I will draw a poppy on your cheeks for the British Legion talk if you wish.
Dydd Mercher - Homework on Blog (Numeracy Focus) PE kit Year 4 and Swimming kit Year 5.
Dydd Gwener - PE Kit needed
It is going to be a busy week Caerau as we have to start practising for our class item for the Christmas concert. I have an idea of what to do but if there is something particular you would like to look at then please let me know. It could be a poem, song, rap or dance. Let me know your ideas tomorrow.
We have also got the carols to learn this week and will be practising every day during last session. Have a look at two of the traditional songs we will be singing below. Please practise these as much as possible at home as well as in school. Click on the pictures to take you to the music.
Away in The Manger
The stars in the sky
Look down where He lay
The little Lord Jesus
Asleep on the hay
The cattle are lowing
The poor Baby wakes
But little Lord Jesus
No crying He makes
I love Thee, Lord Jesus
Look down from the sky
And stay by my side
'Til morning is nigh
Silent Night
Silent night, holy night!
All is calm, all is bright.
Round yon Virgin, Mother and Child.
Holy infant so tender and mild,
Sleep in heavenly peace,
Sleep in heavenly peace
Silent night, holy night!
Shepherds quake at the sight.
Glories stream from heaven afar
Heavenly hosts sing Alleluia,
Christ the Savior is born!
Christ the Savior is born
Silent night, holy night!
Son of God love's pure light.
Radiant beams from Thy holy face
With dawn of redeeming grace,
Jesus Lord, at Thy birth
Jesus Lord, at Thy birth
All is calm, all is bright.
Round yon Virgin, Mother and Child.
Holy infant so tender and mild,
Sleep in heavenly peace,
Sleep in heavenly peace
Silent night, holy night!
Shepherds quake at the sight.
Glories stream from heaven afar
Heavenly hosts sing Alleluia,
Christ the Savior is born!
Christ the Savior is born
Silent night, holy night!
Son of God love's pure light.
Radiant beams from Thy holy face
With dawn of redeeming grace,
Jesus Lord, at Thy birth
Jesus Lord, at Thy birth
It is going to be a busy couple of weeks Caerau and I need you to keep up the hard work, remembering to listen at all times and respect one another.

I know you can do it!
