St David'd Day Photos - children are to come to school in their costumes ready for the class photograph some time in the morning. Children can wear Welsh rugby jersey, Welsh Lady's Costume, Welsh Men's Costume, something red. Don't forget your daffodils girls and leeks for the boys.

Dydd Gwener
Welsh session asking each other Pryd wyt ti'n....? When do you....? You will use the daily routine activities we have been looking at over the past few weeks. Take a look at the video below to remind you. Maybe you can practise at home before Friday.
Saesneg
Continuing our animation project preparation. We will be looking at blurbs this week as we did not get onto them last week as we looked at adverts in more detail. The children created some fabulous adverts for boring every day items such as a hair brush and plug. Using the features of an advert we have looked at the children made these items interesting and a must have!
A blurb is also known as a synopsis. Take a look at the video below for more information:
Mathemateg
We will be finishing our topic of time this week looking at elapsed time, digital and interpreting a range of timetables. Have a think where we might find timetables and why we use them.
Rocket Project
Our rocket project is well under way and the work you have done so far is excellent - I have been blown away by your enthusiasm and hard work! Your designs are looking fantastic and you have taken our criteria into consideration to ensure your rockets are the best they can be. NASA would be very impressed Caerau. Remember, you are the engineers and astronauts of the future! Take a look at some of the fun we have had so far...
In order to move on to our next part of the project we need lost of junk for the modelling. If you have any pop bottles, toilet rolls, cardboard, egg cartons and other boxes at home, please bring them into class. we will hopefully start making towards the end of the week, if not at the start of next week. I am looking forward to seeing the final products and testing them out.
You worked extremely hard last week Caerau and our visitor was very impressed with your rocket designs on Wednesday. The chatting is decreasing and that is great, please keep this up because the less you chat the more you learn! Another busy week ahead but one full of fun and exciting activities. Keep up the hard work my little lovelies.
Mrs Rees :O)
