Dydd Gwyl Dewi Sant 2017

Please take a look at some of the photos taken from this year's Eisteddfod.  There were lots of fantastic performances from Years 4 and 5, I thoroughly enjoyed watching them all and was very proud of each and every one of you.  Take a look at the winners and all those that came a close second and third.  I know Mrs Bohay (our guest judge) found the decisions difficult to make.

A special well done goes to those that performed the chairing of the bard as this is difficult to perform and you did it very well indeed.  Our Year 6 winners seemed very  happy as you gave them their cloaks and daffodil crowns.  A big thank you to Mrs Black for the gorgeous cloak and Mrs James for the beautiful crowns.

  

   

The day ended with a fantastic performance from our school choir who performed in the Urdd's St David's Day concert at All Hallows Church in Miskin.  They were outstanding!  Singing in Welsh is not easy especially when others performing speak Welsh as their first language.  Mrs Harries and I were very proud teachers that evening.
