Hot seating session with local historian - linked to Tonypandy Riots. Can you think of at least 2 questions you would like to ask in order to find out more information about this historical Welsh event. The information learnt during this session will be used to create a news report - one written and one spoken using the green screen in the ICT suite.
Saesneg: - News Reports. This week we will be focusing on the features within a news report - written and oral. This will be lead into planning our own report based on the Tonypandy Riots. Take a look at the videos below to gain a greater understanding of what news is and how journalists create their stories:
Mathemateg: - Scatter Graphs. We will be using scatter graphs to record our data from the lung capacity investigation in science. Before we do this we need to know what they are and how we create them. This will be the main focus of this week's math lessons.
Gwyddoniaeth: Lung Capacity Enquiry. During this investigation the children will be asked to plan a fair test, record their findings and evaluate against their predictions. Take a look at the video below on fair testing:
