The children have come back to school with plenty of energy and we have started our Go Team Eco topic with gusto. I will be working with the class until Mrs Rees returns.
We have been learning how to write effective short stories so plenty of reading will help.
Cardiff City Sessions
The class will be having Cardiff City sessions every Wednesday until half term. Please could the children bring in their PE kits (warm tracksuit for colder weather) and trainers are a must.
Maths Homework
This week the children will need to calculate the perimeter of household objects and rooms in the house, to create a scale plan. You could draw your bedroom. The example below is in feet and inches but your plan will be in cms and metres.
Success Criteria
- Remember to measure accurately
- Record measurements correctly cm2/m2
- Show your scale
- Check your measurements and recordings
Homework to be returned in learning logs on Monday 22nd January.
Cycling Proficiency
Letters are going home today about a cycling course we are holding in school on March 12-15th for those pupils who have a bike and are able to ride unaided.Please could consent forms be returned by Friday.
