The children will beginning their Cycle Proficiency Course tomorrow and it will last for the whole week. As we have such a large number of pupils in Year 6 we have had to put them into 3 groups. Groups 1 and 2 will need their bikes and helmets Monday 12th March - Thursday 15th March and Group 3 will need them Friday 16th (all day - Level 1) and Friday 23rd (all day - Level 2).
The children will work on Level 1 of the course tomorrow and when they have completed this section the trainers will put them into 4 groups of 6 (Groups A-D) to work on Level 2 Tues - Thurs. The children will be told which group they are in at the end of the day tomorrow and I will update the blog with any necessary information then. The trainers have informed the school that pupils MUST complete Level 1 in order to move on to Level 2. We have been told that some pupils may not progress to Level 2, however, it is an amazing achievement to carry out Level 1 in itself. Please can you speak to your child to explain this, so that we can limit any upset or disappointment? Many Thanks in advance.
Please look at the list of groups below to see whether your child needs their bike tomorrow.
