Your new spelling rule; words containing “soft g” (luggage)
Use a dictionary, your reading book, comics, magazines and/or newspapers etc to make a list of words with “soft g”.
1. Write the list in alphabetical order
2. Use each one in a sentence
3. How many can you use in one sentence? The sillier the better eg. The orange large angel
plunged into a river of cabbage.
4. Make sure you know when the “j” sound is written with a “g” eg g is used when
followed by “e” and “i” – gentle, tragic

Use a dictionary, your reading book, comics, magazines and/or newspapers etc to make a list of words with the sound "ee “”.
1. Write the list in alphabetical order
2. Use each one in a sentence
3. Make sure you know how the sound "ee" is made eg. ea, e, ee, y
4. Can you write 5 sentences with each sentence contain the 4 different spellings of ee
Eg. We need to leave quickly
