Mrs Bannister and the Eco Committee are
calling for your help! They would like to make a greenhouse but not any
ordinary greenhouse, no! This is going to be a special greenhouse and very
Eco-friendly too!
In order to make this greenhouse they
need you to collect any 2 litre pop bottles you may have at home. Once you have
finished your Coke, Sprite, Fanta or any other drink that might be your
favourite beverage, they ask that you wash out the bottle and bring it to
school. These bottles will be stored and when we have enough Mr Prothero, the
talented man that he is, is going to create a frame for the bottles to be
attached to.
Have a look below at some images of
plastic bottle greenhouses. Aren't they cool? We will be able to use these
when the cold weather sets in and we want to grow seedlings to plant into our
allotment area.
Please
can you bring in these bottles as soon as you have finished with them. The
sooner they arrive at school, the sooner Eco Committee can start
building!!
