Literacy
We will be continuing to work on the non-fiction aspect of our literacy and language, using our research to begin preparing a presentation to our peers. We will continue to look at Ted Hughes' The Iron Man, which we began reading on World Book Day and think of some activities to do in relation to the book.
Maths
We will be looking at the differences of perimeter and area and also begin looking at more partitioning techniques in calculation. On Friday we will be doing a special problem solving activity as we have special maths kits in school from Techniquest.
Specific notices for certain days:
Dydd Llun: Learning Logs to be returned to school, and a new literacy task will be sent home. I will add new spellings to the blog today, ready for Friday's spelling check.
Dydd Mercher: Swimming kit needed again
Dydd Gwener: Indoor PE Kit needed, maths techniquest
Comic Relief day. We will be dressing up and supporting this worthwhile cause. We would be very grateful if children are able to offer a donation of a £1 towards our fund raising for the cause. More details about the day were on the letter from the school council sent home last Friday.
