We are continuing to focus on writing this week and will be looking at engaging descriptions again.  This week, however, we will be creating newspaper reports instead of story writing.  We will start the week off by looking at speech because your newspaper report will need quotes, therefore we need to know how to use speech marks effectively first.  Click on the links below to find out more about writing an effective newspaper and using speech marks correctly.

   

Mathemateg

In maths this week we will be focusing on finding the area of a range of familiar shapes.  We will start with rectangles and squares, moving on to triangles when we have mastered the more simple shapes.
