Beth Sy'n Digwydd?
We have a busy two weeks ahead of us. I would like to firstly take the opportunity to say how very proud I am of my little lovelies and the way they have learnt their lines and songs for the concert with little or no fuss at all!! It is sounding great already! One week until curtains down, how exciting! Keep up the hard work everyone!
Take a look at important dates and information for the next two weeks:
Dydd Llun 25 Mehefin
First run through of concert with other KS2 classes (pm)

Transition Day Y Pant Pupils. Pupils should arrive and go into the main hall for an 8.30am start. Pupils will be placed in
registration groups, go to their pastoral class and meet with their form tutor.
There they will have the opportunity to confirm that they are with at least one
friend. It will not be possible for all members of larger friendship groups to
be together.
Children can walk to school on the day or be dropped off by
parents. Y Pant has a parent drop-off area just inside the school gates and they respectfully ask that you do not drive your child up to reception. Once you enter the site, turn immediately
right and pull up on the left to drop your child off.
They also operate a cashless canteen in school but children will
not be registered on this until September. On 27th June, children
can bring a packed lunch to eat in school or bring cash to pay for food in Ty
Bywta. Lunch does not start until 1:10pm which is later than in primary school
so children may need a snack at breaktime too. A main meal with a pudding is
£2.65 but there are lots of cheaper options as well including sandwiches, pizza
and jacket potato. Y Pant suggest that £5 is more than generous for a snack and
lunch – most of their students spend far less than this daily. Please also send
your child in with a water bottle. They have chilled water fountains all around
school and do not sell water in school to reduce plastic waste.
Bryncelynnog and Pencoed pupils to come to school as normal.
